Stories have been surfacing the past few days from onboard P&O’s Ventura, that the ship was damaged in a storm off the French Coast in the Bay of Biscay. The worst is the above crack. Said to be wider than 2-in., the crack appeared on the ships upper decks. There are also reports of windows having been shattered.
The Ventura is no small ship either at 116,017grt. This must have been some storm.
So far, only Mikey’s Cruise Blog has been able to get a photo from the scene. More could start pouring out shortly.
