Regal Princess Complete Photo Tour

Having just spent an amazing week onboard the Regal Princess, I wanted to share a complete photo tour of the ship, deck-by-deck.

But first some background on the ship. The Regal Princess is a Royal-class cruise ship and is the identical sister ship to the Royal Princess. These classes of ships were built at Fincantieri and launched between 2013 and 2021 with the Regal Princess setting sail in 2014. The other 4 ships in the class (5 if you include P&O’s flagship Britannia) are the Majestic, Sky, Discovery, and Enchanted. These later 4 ships have slightly different layouts to the Royal and Regal. We covered the Majestic two years ago when I also cruised that ship.

The Royal and Regal Princess are a significant step forward from the incumbent class of ships, the Grand-class, as the Royal-class are larger in terms of tonnage, have a vastly built out central Piazza area, more percentage of balconies, as well as a redesigned main pool area. In fact, the Royal and Regal were technically built as prototype ships for Princess allowing their success to dictate the future of the fleet.

VIEW REGAL PRINCESS DECK PLANS

As per usual, we start with the obligatory photos to give us an idea of the ship. Also to note, I was cruising onboard in December so there were a lot of festive decorations all around.

Random carpet shot and elevator lobby.

There are a few larger sections where they will put out chairs so guests can hang out here. Great place to watch the ship leave from port.
