Scotia Prince Recieves New Life

International Shipping Partners (ISP) announced a time charter of the m/s Scotia Prince to Flemingo Duty Free Shop Pvt. of India. The charter party calls for the ship to be handed over on February 14. She will immediately sail for Sri Lanka, where it will begin sailing between Tuticorin, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka. The charter is said to be for 14 months with options. The 12,097grt Scotia Prince was a ro/ro vessel that sailed between Portland, Maine and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia until 2004 when the city of Portland condemned the terminal due to mold.
