Royal Caribbean just announced that they have agreed to build a fifth Quantum class vessel. The 168,000gt vessel will be built at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany and scheduled for delivery in 2020.
This news comes as the U.S. is about to welcome the Anthem of the Seas into her new homeport of Bayonne, New Jersey. She’ll be pulling into the harbor tomorrow morning.
What started out in 2011 as a small one ship order with two options; Project Sunshine has blossomed into a 5 ship strong fleet.
