North Korea’s First Cruise

The highly isolated country of North Korea is having their first go at the Cruise industry. The 9,000 grt former cargo ship, Mangyongbong took 130 passengers from the northern port of Rajin to the southern port of Mount Kumgang near the South Korean boarder. The ship is old, rundown, but really is anything in North Korean modern? The food is served buffet style. The quality is the furthest thing from what we consider a cruise ship buffet to be. This is truly a one of a kind experience.
