Hot on the heels of MSC’s order from STX France, Cruise Industry News is reporting that MSC and Italy’s Fincantieri are in talks to build two ships that would be sisters to the STX France ones. According to a spokes person this is all “speculation” however.
If so, this would be pretty dramatic. It’s a strong indicator that MSC wants more ships and they want them now. Even more so considering the renders and information we have about it, these ships seem poised to cater to the North American market.
