Last month I reported a rumor going around that Louis was looking to sell the Louis Majesty to Britain’s Thomson Cruises. It now appears to be official.
Replacing the 30- year old Thomson Destiny, the 40,876 GRT, 19-year old ship will be renamed Thomson Destiny. She’s already live on Thomson’s website if you want to check it out.
Details have not emerged yet about the deal but it appears to be a time charter for an undisclosed period.

Thomson Destiny will be transferred back to Louis Cruises. She will be renamed Louis Olympia and sail out of Piraeus starting May 11th.
