Introducing to CruiseInd………

Last holiday season I introduced you all to our Mobile Webcam Viewer. The past few months, we’ve been working our butts off modifying and streamlining the code for it. It is with great accomplishment that we launch CruiseInd Mobile Webcams 2.0. And this time it’s better then ever.

We kept the old look and feel of the layout, but added more ships and Lines. As you can see on the left, we’ve added luxury cruise line Oceania and German line Phoenix Reisen.

There are two ways to access the site. 1) Simply navigate to CruiseInd on your device and follow the instructions below. Or 2) Manually enter cruiseind.com/mobile in your browser.

We have made this site compatible with as many devices as we could. It works on all iOS devices, so all iPod Touch’s, iPhone’s, and iPad’s, all android phones and tablets, Windows Mobile/Phone 7, HP webOS devices, and should work on Blackberry’s.

As an added bonus, it also works on any browser right on your computer. I’ve noticed that it works flawlessly on Chrome or Safari. Simply enter cruiseind.com/mobile and check it out.

One More Thing…

The scripts and code we implemented have one great hidden feature for all iOS devices. On your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, you can pin the application directly to your home screen. This will create its own app out of the page. You wont use Safari, but the actual app itself! All navigation can be done through the top banner. It’s pretty simple. Here’s how it works. When on the page, select the send to button. Then click ‘Add to Home Screen’. Title it what you want. When you’re finished, select ‘add’ and you’re done!
