Holland America has just sold their 37,983gt ship the Prinsendam. The buyer is German line Phoenix Reisen. Phoenix has then time chartered the Prisendam back to Holland America so that HAL can continue to operate her cruises until he schedule runs out next summer.
The 835pax ship is definitely HAL’s smallest. However they are adding more and more larger ships (Nieuw Statendam is due out shortly), so there’s still plenty of smaller ships in their fleet to take over the itineraries. Rotterdam and Volendam receiving a bulk of them.
