According to Norwegian news outlets, Havila Kystruten, the new entry to the coastal routes in Norway, will build their last two ships in Turkey. In June it was announced that Spain’s Barreras Yard in Vigo would build two of the four newbuilds.
This news comes as a blow to Norwegian shipyards who are struggling recently due to the drop in offshore activity and will now not get any of the 4 newbuilds.
