Stewart Chiron, The Cruise Guy® made his weekly appearance on CruiseRadio this week. He too was praising Royal Caribbean’s handling of the fire in terms of getting information out there and controlling the story. He did make an important point though:
We also have to keep in mind that this was a very different situation than what Carnival experienced. That ship was completely without power. This ship had power.
This is a maturing industry, so they can learn how to improve and do better than the last situation.
