Gloucester, MA Sees Boom in Ship Calls

Massachusetts’ most unlikely and newest cruise port has seen a surprising boom in vessel calls. In 2011 there will be 23 calls mostly comming from American Cruise Line and Holland America.

The Canada & New England routes havent seen a new port since a few lines started calling in Port Saguenay on the Saguenay River in Quebec. The area is, in my opinion, in need of some new devolpment in the ports front. There are only some many times you can do the 7 or 10 night cruises to the same ports.
