First Look: Silver Origin

Ultra-luxary operator Silversea Cruises just took delivery of it’s very first destination-specific newbuild.

VIEW SILVER ORIGIN DECK PLANS

The Silver Origin was designed exclusively to sail year-round in the Galapagos islands. The all-suite, 100pax ship has just five passenger decks but is large enough to allow it to have the largest crew-to-pax ratio in the islands at 1:1.11. As with other ultra-luxury operators, Silver Origin offers an ultra-all-inclusive experience. Flights to the Galapagos islands to/from Ecuador are included as are most drinks (including most wine and spirits), in-room dining, wi-fi, and expedition gear.

Passenger areas start on deck 3 with the basecamp and marina in the aft.

Deck 4 contains the restaurant amidships and the Explorers lounge aft.

The ships main stairwell and elevator lobby.

The next deck up are all cabins as well as the beauty salon and fitness area.

At the very top of the ship is the observation lounge forward, the Grill outdoor restaurant mid way down the deck.

At the very end of the deck is an outdoor lounge area just aft of the funnel. This area also features a whirlpool.
