Empress of the North Fate Finally Known

  • Greg DragonettiGreg Dragonetti

Martin Cox over at MaritimeMatters announced that American Queen Steamboat Company has in fact purchased the EMPRESS OF THE NORTH from the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD). She will join her fleetmate the AMERICAN QUEEN.

I reported on a rumor two weeks ago that her fate might soon be known. And now it has.

She will stay on the west coast itineraries the foreseeable future.
