Adventure Canada’s 200 passenger adventure ship has run aground on some uncharted rocks in the Arctic Circle. A rescue ship from the Canadian Coast Guard has arrived and the Clipper Adventurer has been evacuated.
The ship hit rocks in 3m of water. According to the line, and I don’t understand why they would say this, the sea was calm at the time with no wind or swells, visibility was good, and it was sunny out.
She is still on the rocks with a slight list as the passengers are being flown home. More if it becomes available.
