Taking place in Italy today, the first steel was cut for Carnival’s newest flagship.
Not much is known about their newbuild at this point. It will be 135,000gt; putting her slightly larger than the 128,ooogt Carnival Dream-class. She is being constructed at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone yard. The estimated entry into service will be April 2016. Double occupancy of 4,000pax.
