Carnival Celebrates Steel Cutting For Next Flagship

Carnival Cruise Lines celebrated the steel cutting for their first LNG ship of the XL-class, which is heavily rumored to be named Carnival Reflection. They also released an updated render that shows them painting the ships hull partially blue. They’re going for the patriotic look with the red, white & blue. They haven’t mentioned if older ships will get this hull design.

The 180,000gt ship is part of the larger Carnival Corp. Excellence-class of vessels. The first, aidaNova will set sail by the end of the year.
