The above photo appears to be a legitimate rendering of what AIDA’s upcoming newbuild will look like. Currently under construction at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the 125,000 grt vessel will debut in 2015.
The most striking feature, if accurate, is the 90 degree vertical bow with raked fo’c’sle deck. It would be a pleasant change to the stubby bows we’ve all been seeing lately.
Also it appears that the deck above the lifeboats will have a Norwegian Breakaway waterfront like area.
