Hot on the heels of NCL’s shocking newbuild order, industry giant Carnival has placed an order for a 135,000grt vessel for Carnival Cruise Lines. Scheduled to launch in 2016, she will represent a new class of vessel for the line.
The deal also comes with another ship for Holland America. Their ship will be 99,000grt and launch in 2015.
Details are quite scarce at this point so stay tuned.
Both ships will be built by Italy’s Fincanteri.
