Hero of the Seas Deck Plans
Hero of the Seas, debuting in August 2027, is Royal Caribbean’s fourth Icon-class cruise ship and one of the largest passenger vessels ever built. Constructed at Meyer Turku in Finland, the ship measures about 250,800 gross tons, with capacity for more than 5,600 guests at double occupancy and over 7,000 at maximum, served by roughly 2,350 crew. Like her sisters Icon of the Seas, Star of the Seas, and Legend of the Seas, she is powered by liquefied natural gas with additional shore power connections, reflecting Royal Caribbean’s continued push toward lower-emission technologies. At nearly 365 meters (1,198 feet) in length and 20 decks, the vessel is arranged into eight distinct neighborhoods and carries roughly 2,805 staterooms across 11 cabin decks. Onboard features include nine pools, the largest waterpark at sea in Category 6, the first funnel raft slide at sea, the new Coconut Cove and an expanded Hideaway, 28 dining venues ranging from the Orleans Parish Supper Club to hands-on cooking classes, and the three-story Ultimate Family Treehouse. Hero of the Seas will sail seven-night Caribbean itineraries from Miami, each calling at Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
