Celebrity Xcel Deck Plans
Celebrity Xcel, which entered service in November 2025, is the fifth and final ship in Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series, joining Celebrity Edge, Apex, Beyond, and Ascent. Built at Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, she measures roughly 141,400 gross tons and 1,073 feet in length with a 128-foot beam, carrying 3,260 guests at double occupancy and up to about 3,950 at maximum, served by a crew of 1,400. The ship holds 1,646 staterooms across 10 cabin decks, with 16 decks in total and deck numbering running to 17. Xcel is the first vessel built by the French shipyard with methanol-ready propulsion, capable of running on marine diesel, LNG, or methanol. Signature features carried over from the Edge Series include the Magic Carpet, the cantilevered platform that moves vertically along the starboard side, and the three-deck Grand Plaza at the center of the ship. New to Xcel are Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud and a redesigned Luminae. She is registered in Valletta, Malta, and sails Caribbean and Mediterranean itineraries.
