Virgin Voyages have just named their first ship the Scarlet Lady. She will debut in Miami in 2020. The name unveiling took place at the yard coinciding with the steel cutting ceremony for their second unnamed vessel. This one will debut in 2021.
Virgin Voyages is trying to differentiate themselves by sailing their first ship as adults-only. They are also using designers and architects that have never worked on vessel projects before. They’re hoping this leads to some bold new ideas never before seen at sea.
