From billion-dollar giants to intimate yachts from new lines carrying fewer than 200 guests, this year’s lineup highlights just how diverse the cruise industry has become.
Here’s a look at 20 ships expected to debut in 2026, listed in order of their anticipated arrival dates.
1. Norwegian Luna ✅

Norwegian Luna will enter service at 140,000 gross tons and carry approximately 3,300 passengers. Built by Fincantieri as part of Norwegian Cruise Line’s Project Leonardo, the ship continues the brand’s push toward more open space and refined design. Luna is expected to build on the success of its sister ships with expansive outdoor areas and a reimagined guest flow. As one of NCL’s newest ships, it will showcase the latest evolution of the line’s mid-sized megaship concept.
2. Disney Adventure ✅

Disney Adventure is one of the most anticipated ships of the year, coming in at 208,000 gross tons with a capacity of around 6,000 passengers. Originally started as part of Genting’s Global Class project, the ship has been acquired and reimagined by Disney Cruise Line. It will be one of the largest ships in Disney’s fleet and is expected to feature immersive themed environments and entertainment. 3. Four Seasons 1
Four Seasons will make its long-awaited cruise debut with this 34,000 gross ton yacht carrying just 185 guests. Built by Fincantieri, the vessel focuses on ultra-luxury with an emphasis on space, privacy, and personalized service. Suites are expected to be among the largest at sea, with a strong residential feel. This ship marks Four Seasons’ entry into the high-end cruise segment with a product aimed squarely at the luxury hotel market.
4. Orient Express Corinthian
Orient Express Corinthian will be a 26,600 gross ton sailing yacht accommodating only 108 passengers. Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, the ship is designed to blend classic luxury with modern sailing technology. It will feature large rigid sails, making it one of the most visually distinctive ships at sea. The vessel aims to recreate the glamour of the Orient Express brand in a maritime setting.
5. Explora III

Explora III will join MSC’s luxury brand at 63,900 gross tons with a capacity of 962 guests. Built by Fincantieri, it continues the Explora Journeys concept of all-suite accommodations and high-end, destination-focused cruising. 6. Emerald Kaia
Emerald Kaia is a 5,755 gross ton yacht carrying 128 guests, built for Emerald Cruises. Constructed in Vietnam, the ship continues the brand’s expansion into small-ship ocean cruising. Viking continues to prioritize smaller ships with a high space-to-guest ratio.
8. Viking Libra

Sister ship to Viking Mira, Viking Libra will also measure 54,300 gross tons and accommodate 998 passengers. It continues Viking’s expansion with a nearly identical design and guest experience. The ship will focus on cultural enrichment, longer port stays, and inclusive pricing. Viking’s steady growth strategy remains unchanged with this addition.
9. Mein Schiff Flow

Mein Schiff Flow will be a 161,000 gross ton ship carrying around 4,000 passengers for TUI Cruises. Built by Fincantieri, the vessel represents the next generation of the Mein Schiff fleet. It is expected to include enhanced wellness areas and energy-efficient systems. The ship continues TUI’s focus on premium all-inclusive cruising for the German market.
10. MSC World Asia
MSC World Asia will be one of the largest ships delivered in 2026 at 215,000 gross tons with a capacity of 5,400 passengers. American Ranger will be identical in size and capacity to its sister ship at 4,100 gross tons and 109 passengers. Built by Chesapeake Shipbuilding, it will operate U.S. itineraries. 20. American Encore
American Encore will be slightly larger at 6,000 gross tons with a capacity of 180 passengers.
