Star Seeker
Star Seeker, Windstar’s first new-build superyacht, is scheduled for delivery in December 2025 from WestSEA Shipyard in Portugal. The vessel measures approximately 9,934 GT with capacity for 224 passengers in 112 all-suite accommodations—all ocean-view, featuring private verandas or floor-to-ceiling infinity windows, including two Horizon Owner’s Suites with wraparound balconies on deck 7. Its onboard amenities includes five dining venues (Amphora, Star Grill, specialty restaurant, cabin service), a two-story spa and fitness center, forward whirlpool, Yacht Club café/lounge, and Windstar’s signature watersports platform. Featuring an ice-strengthened hull, Tier III NOₓ-rated Rolls Royce engines, shore power capability, and advanced wastewater treatment, the hybrid propulsion system includes pump-jet thrusters and forward-facing sonar. Star Seeker will debut with a Transatlantic voyage in January 2026, followed by Caribbean, Alaska, Japan, and Southeast Asia itineraries
Star Explorer
Star Explorer, a reconfigured sister ship currently sailing as Quark’s World Explorer, will enter service with Windstar in December 2026 and debut in the Mediterranean. With a gross tonnage of approximately 9,923 GT and capacity for 224 guests in 112 suites—including two aft-facing Horizon Owner’s Suites with wraparound balconies—its layout mirrors Star Seeker’s. The ship will also offer five dining venues, a Yacht Club café/lounge, two-story spa and gym, forward whirlpool, and watersports platform, all integrated into an ice-strengthened hull design . The conversion includes modifications such as adding crew cabins and transforming expedition mud rooms and helipad into spa and suite space during refit. Star Explorer will commence its inaugural season in the Mediterranean beginning December 28, 2026.
