Star Cruises Orders Second Ship

Back in October, Star Cruises announced that they have signed an agreement for the construction of one ship in Germany’s Meyer Werft. Today they announced the deal has been increased to two ships. I estimate the deal to be close to, but not exceeding, usd$2 billion. The ships will be 150,000gt, which put her right between the Breakaway class and breakaway-plus class. The first one is expected mid 2016 and this latest one will be delivered mid-2017.
