Norwegian Star Out Of Service Until April 26
The Norwegian Star recent completed a drydock and returned to service on March 17, 2015. It seems one of her azipods has been acting up ever since and NCL has been forced to return the ship to drydock to fix the problem. She will be out of service until April 26th. As a result NCL has had to cancel a 15-night Panama Canal cruise from LA to Miami.
This morning the ship arrived in Mazatlan, Mexico. From there, not sure where she’s headed. I’ll update twitter when I find out more.
From my sources, it looks like it was while on transit from LA to Cabo san Lucas that something happened with the Azipod.
