Carnival Triumph Update and Sunshine is Delayed
CruiseCritic is reporting that the Carnival Triumph will be out through early June. She will remain in Mobile until the end of April/early May. Then she will sail to Freeport Bahamas to finish out all repair work. I’d Imagine that this is where the interiors will be refitted.
In other Carnival news, the Carnival Destiny/Sunshine suffered several setbacks while in drydock in Italy. Carnival announced that the Sunshine will sail her “maiden” voyage May 5 instead of April 12. The reason given was to enhance certain mechanical elements in the wake of the Operational Review.
