Today on Twitter I live tweeted Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas arriving to her new home in Port Miami. The Oasis-class ship becomes the largest ship to have berthed in the Port. The 225,282gt ship will use the brand new Terminal A that just opened. Though her slightly larger sister, the 228,081gt Symphony of the Seas, will also be turning-around in Miami starting on November 09 so Allure’s title will be short-lived.

Here’s some photos of the event.

Earlier in the day, as the Empress of the Seas (Royal’s smallest ship) passed her much, much larger sister, they exchanged blasts on the ships whistle.

And here are my tweets as it was happening live.
