BREAKING: Overboard on Oasis of the Seas

Confirmed: Crewmember missing from Oasis. A 45 year old member from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was first discovered to be missing and then confirmed to have gone overboard (probably through the ships surveillance cameras). The ship will now sail a modified itinerary after transferring the search to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Changes to the RCI Fleet (Well Freedom and Above)

Royal Caribbean announced that they will upgrade the Freedom and Liberty of the seas in drydocks in early 2011. These changes are to bring the two sisters up to Oasis level in terms of amenities only. Don’t worry, they will not stretch each ship.

Independence of the Seas year-round in Europe

RCI announced today that the Independence of the Seas will be based year-round in Europe. She will sail from Southampton starting in April 2010. It has already been announced that she will sail to Europe for the Summer 2010, RCI is just unveiling the winter 2010 season essentially.
