Update to the Royal Princess

The fire crippled two of the ships four main engines. A shipyard in Greece has been chosen for these repairs due to their mechanical nature. The ship will leave for Pireus (Athens), Greece on Wednesday and is scheduled to arrive 3-4 days latter since she will be running on her two remaining engines.

Cruise Lines Starting to Skip Mexico

This just in. Word is that Carnival’s Inspiration and Holiday are skipping Cozumel and the Elation is skipping Ensenada today. Holland America’s Ryndam is also skipping Mazatlan as well. If I hear anything more, I’ll post it.
UPDATE 1:20pm: Carnival announced that at 5:00pm ET, they will issue a statement about future itinerary alterations.
