I came across some photos of the Disney Dream being build and thought I would pass them along. Take note of the detail that goes into the vessels bow and stern. Reminds me of the old sailing days where the designs along the hulls used to be quite elaborate.

Just saw on NBC’s coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade they gave a shout-out to the Disney Dream. Mickey Mouse this year was “Sailor Mickey.” They just stated about 2 sentences worth of info about it but it was still cool to hear.

Lost in all the Oasis media hype was an announcement by the Disney Corp. about the Disney Dream (Not to be confused with the Carnival Dream and the former Norwegian Dream any other ships I’m missing!). Her maiden voyage is slated for January 26, 2011.
